class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The church of San Pietro Barisano, was partly excavated in the calcareous rock mass called Sasso Barisano, and partly completed by setting up blocks of the same stone; it is considered the largest of Matera&#8217;s rupestrian churches.<br \/>At present it is a large exhibition space, dedicated to cultural events of various kinds, and thus constitutes a segment of the large open-air museum represented by the historic centre of Matera.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
