Many objects conserved in deposits or exhibited in the museums of Basilicata, have been subject to cataloging by the CBC, a cooperative restoring company. The state of conservation, the survey of the construction characteristics, the most recurring typologies and the specific criticalities of this type of artifacts have been identified. This detailed study of the originals, guided the choices for making the copies on which both, virtual simulations and experimental laboratory tests were then conducted. In parallel, with the filing activity, interventions of extraordinary maintenance were carried out on some vases of the Domenico Ridola National Archaeological Museum in Matera, which have been then exhibited in the new arrangement of the Rizzon Collection.
