The company Artèria s.r.l. has produced different types of crates for the transport of works and has carried out tests on trucks, using different materials and packaging methods. The transports were monitored and the vibrations experienced by the crates and the objects inside them were analysed, in order to identify the most effective packaging solutions.
Furthermore, a prototype showcase was created on which tests were conducted in the laboratories of the Department of Mechanics of the Milan Polytechnic and virtual simulations at the spin-off of the University of Calabria 3D Research, subjecting it to seismic vibrations of different intensities, both on a vibrating table, and with virtual simulations. Simulations of the behavior of exhibited objects with different modalities, positions and constraints were then carried out.
